cushionPaper Thermal Box
The cushionPaper Thermal range (Thermal Box and Thermal Pad) is built for the cold chain: extra high flutes create insulating air chambers which, combined with heat reflective paper, help stabilise the internal temperature of the parcel. Thermal Boxes deliver structure and insulation; Thermal Pads complete the thermal barrier and restrain contents, mitigating shocks and micro movements. Fully paper based and recyclable (PAP 20), they suit food and pharma shipments and help reduce condensation and waste.
The cushionPaper Thermal line combines Thermal Boxes (insulated corrugated paper boxes) and Thermal Pads (inner liners) for shipments that require temperature retention and in transit protection. Thermal performance stems from two elements: (1) the high flute profile (≈10–12 mm) that creates air chambers with low heat transfer; (2) a heat reflective paper layer that lowers radiative exchange, helping the pack maintain its internal climate for longer. Thermal Boxes provide mechanical strength and an insulated surface; Thermal Pads, supplied in 260×1045, 160×1445 and 290×800 mm, are placed inside the box to complete the thermal barrier, keep products in place and limit internal movement, damping shocks, vibrations and compressive loads typical of logistics. Climate resistance testing supports use across cold chain profiles (e.g., 0–8 °C) for food and pharma, helping reduce condensation and cut waste along the distribution route. Being entirely paper based and recyclable in standard paper streams (PAP 20), cushionPaper Thermal offers a sustainable alternative to EPS/plastic solutions while preserving practicality, low weight and a clean unboxing experience.
